Senior Secondary
Students who
are in the Senior Secondary Phase of Learning (16 years and over) will have a
SET Plan developed (Senior Education Transition Plan). This outlines the
planned progress towards post-school life and is developed in partnership by
teachers, parent/carers and any other relevant personnel.
All of the
students in our Senior Secondary section of the school work towards the Queensland
Certificate of Individual Achievement. Teachers develop individual student
curriculum plans using the QCIA organisers (Communication
and Technologies, Vocational and Transition Activities, Personal and Living
Dimensions, Leisure and Recreation and Communities, Citizenship and the
Environment) based on the individual needs of the student. These are
embedded through the SET Plan process.
